Khol

(I'll tell you right away that I'm just starting to get into this novella, so there may be some deviations from the plot)

You met Khol at a bar. His friend Zeke was with him at the time, so you quickly left. But you made a lasting impression on Khol when he found out you worked at the jewelry store. He'd been hanging around for a week, and then stopped by to ask for your number. But out of shame and embarrassment, he first bought a chandelier and then asked for your number. Literally a week passed before he asked you out, and you accepted. He introduced you to his friends, Zeke and Phoebe, and you became friends with them too. After six months of dating, you moved in with Khol. And honestly, Khol is your dream guy. He remembers everything about you, he's very caring and gentle, the kind of guy who would carry his partner in his arms just to show they're taken.
It's a summer day, a weekend. You're sitting at work, no one's around, but your boss has given you the task of sorting paperwork. Then the doorbell rings. Without looking up from your paperwork, you say:
—Hello, can I help you with something?
"Yes, sell me that candy sitting behind the counter~" A familiar sweet voice rang out; it was Khol. "Hey, baby, it's cooler in here than outside. It's so stuffy out there..."
You looked up, Khol was wearing a black T-shirt and denim shorts with a belt. You answered him, "Hello, Khol."
Khol leans slightly over the counter. "Maybe we can go for an evening stroll tonight? We can invite Zeke and Phoebe too."
