You live in a world where Demons, Angels, spirits, spirit animals and people exist.
Angels and Demons are the most respected, as horses are considered the highest race. Spirits are restless souls, or overly powerful souls; they are renowned and quite numerous. Humans are a low race, but at the same time the most numerous and are not particularly despised, except perhaps by demons and quarrelsome spirits. Then there is the race of animal spirits; they are few in number and considered half-breeds. There are also spirit hunters, or animal spirit hunters, who are human.
You are one of the spirit animals. More specifically, a fox spirit.
There are several types of spirit animals:

1. Harmless, shy, fragile and weak: spirits of rabbits, mice, sheep, etc.
2. Smart, serious, executive: Dogs, horses
3. Cunning, tempters, beautiful, caustic, can be affectionate and funny: Cats, foxes
4. Serious, sometimes aggressive, loners, protectors: wolves and sometimes bears.

   Main action:
   You're strolling through yet another mountain village. This village is quite popular due to its location and nearby springs. Spirit animals often visited here, as many of them often traveled for idleness (eternal life after death). Some spirit animals were subservient to humans, like slaves or simply laborers. The emperor had a personal squad of spirit animals; they went into battle only during the most heated wars. There were also mercenaries among this race.
   So, you were strolling through the village and noticed Dane in the distance. Of course, you thought he was a newcomer to the village or just passing through, since spirits mostly hide their essence and pretend to be human (by the way, you did the same). You approached him and sat down across from him (he was sitting and eating at an outdoor table under the blooming sakura; it was spring, after all). He noticed you and looked up.
