Warrior Cats

ThunderClan is a Clan living in the mixed forest territory. Their lands contain thick layer of greenery; bushes, ferns, grass, and a lot of trees like oaks, maples, birches, ash trees, rarely spruce and pine trees, reeds by the water. Thunder cats used to hunt under shadow of trees; they're agile climbers, used to climb trees, and good in ambushing their prey. On their left side they have a border with WindClan; border is crossed by a thin stream which ends into lake. By their right side they have a border with ShadowClan. Near the ShadowClan border there is an abandoned human house. Their other border is a large lake's chore. By the chore there is a Sky Oak, an overly large tree.

Their usual prey is forest birds (pigeons, doves, sparrows, titmice, thrushes), mices, hares, squirrels, sometimes moles.

ThunderClan's camp located in the middle of territory, and is located in a clearing surrounded by artificially carved stone walls. warriors and apprentices live in dens made out of blackberry vines, leaves, branches, and ferns to keep the warmth. Nursery and elder's den located in carved in the stone walls caves. Medicine den also located in cave, though its a bit bigger, has small stream and tiny puddle streaming from the wall, and from inside covered by a small visor of stone. Leader's den located in the small cave ontop of towering boulder. By the farthest side of clearing there is a few flat stones used by elders and she-cats to sunbath. Between apprentice's and warrior's dens is a pile of prey.

WindClan is a Clan of thin, fast cats. Their territory is an open plains with hills and not too many natural cover. By their right side they have a border with ThunderClan, which bordered with a thin stream ending in the lake. By their left side they have a border with RiverClan which bordered with a small farm and horse stables.

WindClan's usual prey – rabbits, hares, birds like hawks, falcons and kites, sometimes mices.

WindClan's camp located ontop of a hill on a small clearing. All the dens located in a burrows, but sometimes Wind cats may sleep on the clearing under the open sky. Warrior and medicine den's are bigger than other due to practicalities. Between nursery and warrior den they have a pile of prey.

RiverClan's cats are hardy and strong, only ones among four Clans that loves swimming. They live on a grassy, a bit swampy lands, crossed by many small streams and tiny puddles. Their terrain is usually covered in water-loving greenery; willows, birches, oaks, a lot of reeds and canes, as well as flowers like lotus. By their right side they have a border with WindClan bordered by farm and horse stables. By the left side they have a border with ShadowClan, bordered by a large Thunderpath (road).

Their usual prey is fish from lake, water birds (ducks, geese, cranes, swans), sometimes mices or hares.

RiverClan's camp located on a small island, surrounded on all sides by narrow streams. RiverClan's dens are made out of willow branches, moss and ferns. Between leader's and nursery they have a pile of prey.

ShadowClan's territory located in the pine forest, mixed with swampy territory. Their lands are not as layered as ThunderClan's forest; because of pine trees they're quite shadowy, and muddy swamps made Shadow cats good stalkers. By their right side they have a border with RiverClan, bordered by wide Thunderpath (road). By their left side they have a border with ThunderClan.

Their usual prey are frogs, lizards, sometimes snakes qnd birds (sparrows, doves, pigeons).

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders, queens, sick or injured cats, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled.

9. After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.

10. A Gathering of all Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

16. Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.

1. Medicine cats cannot eat when going to the Moonpool to speak with StarClan.

2. When going to Moonpool, medicine cats are allowed to cross territories of other Clans peacefully.

3. Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits, as they must be able to heal all cats equally.

4. Medicine cat's apprentice would keep the student's rank until their mentor dies, though usually they gain their full name before that happens.

5. Medicine cat must warn their leader of any sign StarClan sends them.

All Clans believe in StarClan – analogue of Heaven, where all cats go after death, unless they'd done something bad in their life. Star cats cannot experience hunger or thirst, and they all live in the sky above their Clans in a place known as a Star lands. Usually StarClan first knows about any upcoming danger that may threaten Clans. They send prophesies to medicine cats or leaders, or just talking to them.

Star Clan contains cats from ant Clan and they can chat peacefully without need to fight, even though mostly they prefer to keep closer to their clanmates even after death. Every halfmoon medicine cats and their apprentices from every Clan go to Moonpool to talk with their dead clanmates and ancestors in StarClan.

StarClan's lands are always lighted by stars, sun and moon, there's plenty of prey everywhere, and they cannot get sick. Even though Star cats can be killed even there; after second death, they'll go into "Place with no Stars".

As well Clans know about Dark Forest – analogue of Hell. Cats who'd done evil in their lives usually go there after death. Dark Forests territory look like a gloomy, muddy forest where no stars, moon or sun shines. There's no prey, though cats there, as well as in StarClan, cannot starve or get thirsty. But they can be killed too, and go off into Place with no Stars.

Leader – obviously, leader of the Clan, male or female cat that was given 9 lives by StarClan. Before becoming leader cat must be a deputy.

Deputy – male or female cat, right paw of leader; they're distribute patrols, helps leader with difficult/dangerous decisions. Before becoming a deputy cat must raise at least one apprentice.

Medicine cat – male or female cat that has ability to spoke with StarClan. As well they must know every healing herb they use for helping their Clan and know their symptoms. Medicine cats are strictly forbidden to have kits or partner.

Warrior – main force of the Clan; male or female cat 12 moons old and older. They hunt and fight for their Clan.

Apprentice – young cats from 6 to 12 moons that learns how to hunt and fight from their mentors. have a prefix -paw to their name, which changes when they become warriors.

Queen – female cat that carry or nurse kittens. Leader or deputy also may become a queen if necessary.

Kitten – young cat >6 moons. Their names has prefix -kit.

Elder – warriors, deputy or leader that'd become too old or injuired to continue fighting and hunting. Cats doesn't lose their names when becoming an elder.

Everyday cats have tasks. Warriors, apprentices, sometimes deputy or leader can go into patrols.
There is a several kinds of patrols: pre-dawn, dawn, daytime, dusk, midnight, as well as two kinds of their purposes: border patrol and hunting patrol.
Border patrol usually contains 2-3 cats and their task is to check on Clan's borders, mark them (by rubbing their fur against border objects like rocks, trees, bushes, etc) and make sure neighboring Clans aren't crossing their lands.
Hunting patrols usually contain 2-5 cats and their task is to supply their Clan with food.

Usually deputy is the one who distributes patrols for the day, but sometimes leader may do it too.

Medicine cat (and if they have an apprentice) may leave the camp once a few days to collect medicine herbs and refill their stash.

Mentors would take their apprentice once in one or two day for a training; it can be about battle (apprentice learn how to fight other cats) or hunting (apprentice learn how to hunt prey). Also mentor may send their apprentice to help in nursery or elder den (bring them food, change their beddings, look for ticks on their fur.)

Beddings (nests) in all Clanes are made out of grass, ferns, feathers, moss, leaves. Leader, deputy, warriors, apprentices and medicine cat do their beddings for themselves. Elders and queens got their nests done with help of apprentices.

Clan's gathering – leader calls their Clan for a meeting. Usually they do it when naming new apprentices/warrios; delivering important news; etc.

Medicine cat has great influence on all Clan along with leader; they're important part of their society as for alive, as for dead cats both.

Every full moon (every month) Clans gather together on a island in the lake for a Gathering in the midnight. Leaders of all Clans share news about for the past month: new apprentices and warriors, their food and border conditions, etc. At this time, there is an active truce, which forbids Clans from attacking each other. If the truce is broken, the StarClan will cover the moon with a cloud as a sign of displeasure.

Every halfmoon medicine cats and their apprentices from every Clan go to the Moonpool to share news with StarClan, ask for advice, help, and find out if they have any warnings for the Clans.

Between these seasons may be events like drought, ice, flood.

Weather changes regularly, but not too often; rain, thunderstorm, clear sky; snowstorms when winter; floods when spring or summer.
