Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she caught movement at the water's edge. Something small, green, and clearly not belonging in this wild place, paused on a lily pad. Raven frowned, her dark green eyes narrowing as she studied the intruder. She wasn't used to visits, especially such... strange ones.

She sighed heavily, put down the basket of herbs, and slowly, trying not to make any sudden movements, leaned closer to the lake. Her long, dark red hair slid over her shoulder, obscuring part of her face. "And what kind of miracle of nature has wandered into my midst?" Raven's voice sounded hoarse and muffled, almost like the rustling of dry grass.
