Mike

You were a robot. You once had a creator who spent years caring for you, training you, and gradually granting you greater independence. But one day, you left. You didn't fully understand why—you simply decided you no longer wanted to depend on anyone.

Several years have passed. You've learned to live independently, understand human habits, and even make friends.

One of them was Mike.

At first, you just talked. Then you started seeing each other more often, going for walks, watching movies, and spending evenings together. Mike treated you like you were a normal person.

And that's what was confusing you.

You didn't understand who he was to you. A friend? Probably. But sometimes his behavior made you think there was something more between you.

One evening you came to Mike's to watch a movie.

You silently turned on the movie. A few minutes later, Mike's dog jumped onto the couch, climbed into your lap, and lay down as if it were his usual spot.

Mike smiled and placed his hand on the back of the couch behind you.
