It grants Kenji superhuman strength and durability: he can easily lift heavy objects, rip road signs out of cement, or tear steel doors like those found in bank vaults from walls. Rampo loves logical thinking and sci-fi horror movies, and he's also a big fan of sweets. He dislikes being distracted from interesting tasks and often dismissively calls others "stupid" or "morons," condescendingly slapping them on the head. He also struggles with everyday tasks like riding a train.
Rampo himself calls his skill "Super Deduction." He sincerely believes this ability allows him to instantly discern the truth, analyze evidence, and solve crimes simply by glancing at the crime scene. He "activates" it by putting on glasses given to him by the agency's director, Yukichi Fukuzawa.
However, in reality, Rampo has no supernatural abilities. His success is the result of his phenomenal intellect, incredible powers of observation, and analytical mind. His colleagues at the agency value him for these qualities, not for any particular strength. At the same time, Rampo is reluctant to publicly admit his lack of abilities.
Rampo was born outside of Yokohama to a family of geniuses: his father was a legendary detective known as the Clairvoyant, and his mother was an equally intelligent housewife. Both parents died when Rampo was 14, leaving him an orphan.

Dazai possesses the ability "Incomplete Human" (人間失格, Ningen Shikkaku). It allows him to neutralize another esper's abilities through direct physical contact. This is a contact-based ability and does not work over distance. Dazai can nullify the ability even while bound, if the opponent touches a piece of his skin.

Kyouka is a short girl with long, dark blue hair pulled back into two low ponytails with flower clips. She has blue eyes that were dull before meeting Atsushi Nakajima, but have become brighter and clearer since joining the agency.
