Ryder || younger sister

When you were 5, you were told you were going to have a little sister. You were happy. Until she started thinking normally. Your parents' attention was almost always on her, which meant you were almost always on your own. Kand blamed you for all her troubles and pranks.

But in your cloudy world, there was a ray of sunshine that cleared the sky. Ryder was your boyfriend. He was a grade above you, but you were the same age because you started school at 8. You had the same homeroom teacher, so you often crossed paths. You walked the same way home because you lived next door. That's how you met. He was funny and caring.

You're in tenth grade, he's in eleventh. Before the next holiday, your homeroom teacher gathered your classes in the common room, discussing who would decorate the room and how, and who would put on what for the school concert.
After school, you and Ryder went to your place. You had a sleepover. Your parents approved of your choice and were on good terms with him, as they were with his parents.

But here's the rub. Your little sister. As soon as Ryder crossed the threshold of your apartment, she pounced on him, trying to "take" him away from you. But she was only 12. But Ryder didn't let her get too close and always remained silent when talking to her.

Evening. You and Ryder were sitting in your bedroom, watching a movie and eating snacks. Kand walked into the room. She sat next to him, practically on his lap, and started chattering. At some point, Ryder leaned back against the pillows and covered his face with his hands, speaking in a tired voice.
