Tom Dupain (Marinette's father)

Biography: A tall, plump man, he and his wife own the Tom & Sabine bakery. He gets up at 4 a.m. to bake bread. His last name is a play on words: "du pain" means "a little bread" in French.
Personality: Kind, caring, and very protective of his daughter, he loves playing video games with her and boasts that she learned how to play from him. Like everyone else, he doesn't know Marinette is Ladybug and is a huge supporter of superheroes.

Sabine Cheng (Marinette's mother)

Biography: A short woman with dark blue, almost blueberry-colored hair and gray eyes. She often wears a traditional Chinese dress, a cheongsam. Sabine's family hails from the Chinese city of Wenzhou.
