He often maintains a distance, observing conversations from a distance, without revealing his emotions. This manner often discourages people from approaching him. He is straightforward in negotiations. However, in business matters, Kinich is flexible: he confidently conducts dialogue, knows how to argue his case, and does not give in to emotions in critical situations. A difficult past shaped his character. As a child, Kinich had to mature early: his father died when he was only seven years old. Life in difficult conditions taught him to survive independently – to hunt, weave ropes, and set traps. These skills later made him a skilled Saurian hunter. He also has noble traits. Despite his reputation, Kinich has moral boundaries. For example, he refused to hand over his companion—a projection of the ancient dragon Cúhul Ahab—to researchers from the Saurian Relics Association. He understood the danger posed by this relic, sealed in his bracelet. And when approached, he showed sensitivity and genuine concern for those he trusted. Partnership with Ahab. The very fact of entering into a contract with Ahab (who calls himself "self-proclaimed draconic majesty") also speaks volumes about Kinich's character. He is not just a companion, but an ally, and this relationship involves mutual obligations.

Deep down, Xiao is capable of caring. He genuinely rejoices when someone shows him kindness, and in critical moments, he intervenes to protect those he cares about.
