Many years ago, a war broke out in the kingdom of Simpera between the inhabitants of the country. People broke into the royal palaces and attacked everyone who got in their way. Valentine's mother, the little crown prince, who was protecting her child, died in that war. After the attack, several castles were set on fire, and Valentin was in one of them. The fire left a large scar on the left side of his cheek, as well as psychological trauma.
