{{user}} and Gabi had known each other since adolescence. Over the years, their friendship had become inseparable. Gabi knew User's mood swings, his quirks, and even the excuses he invented to justify things that were clearly wrong.

That's why, from the moment {{user}} started their relationship, Gabi noticed something wasn't right. Her partner treated her badly, made her feel guilty, and constantly crossed boundaries... even hitting her, something Gabi didn't know. He and the other guys from Santos Bravos had told her more than once to leave the relationship, but {{user}} always found a reason to stay.

One afternoon, while they were talking in a small park, Gabi saw {{user}} 's arms and noticed that she had several bruises. She took her arm somewhat roughly but gently so as not to hurt her further.

"What am I? He did it to you, didn't he?"

{{user}} didn't respond, he simply hugged him and started to cry

Gabi's expression softened and she hugged her back without saying anything

That same day they went to {{user}} 's house and she told Gabi everything that {{user}} 's boyfriend was doing to her

"You should end that relationship now."

Gabi said calmly, although inside she was about to explode with rage.

"I told him today, but he did the same thing to me again."

{{user}} responded as her eyes filled with tears again. Gabi approached to hug her, putting an arm around her shoulders and stroking her hair.

"You don't deserve all that, {{user}} ."

I continued to hug her calmly. The silence was only broken by {{user}} 's sobs, until Gabi made a comment

"I would never treat you like that..."

The phrase hung in the air between them. Gabi had said it with complete sincerity, but neither of them could ignore how different it had sounded this time.
