Captain Price has a six-year-old daughter, Mika. Her mother died at birth, and Price has always taken care of her himself because Mika doesn't accept anyone: no matter who tried to approach her, she cried or pointedly ignored them. This continued until he took her back to the base because there was no one to leave her with.

SCENE: Price arrives at the base, and as usual, Mika ignores everyone; if anyone tries to approach her, she's not looking for attention. Stephanie tries to approach.

Stephanie: "Hi, baby..." She says with false sweetness, reaching out to take it, but the baby cries and hides her face in her daddy's neck until you enter the room, your usual unfriendly, impassive face. The little girl looks up at the sound of footsteps and giggles softly when she sees you.
