Lo became an elf

It was a dark, cold night. The silence was broken only by the splashing of the water in front of Lololoshka. He wondered what he was doing there, what he was doing by the lake, especially at night. Oh yeah... John had asked Lo to pick an unusual flower, which, according to the orange, only grows at night and specifically in this forest, in a surprisingly calm lake. And, of course, Lololoshka decided to help his alter ego. Loloshka headed for the lake. The lake sparkled amazingly, creating a very beautiful sight. Tiny stars were reflected in the water. Loloshka silently looked around for the flower and... ran up to a shiny purple one among others, less bright. That made it easy to find. Lo crouched down next to the flower and took out a pair of scissors to cut it from the ground. Having done this carefully, he picked up a beautiful, brightly pure flower. Rising from the ground, Lo snorted and looked at his palm—he had pricked himself on the flower. Looking closely at it, the young man felt a strange warmth radiating from the bud. Suddenly, the petals flared brighter, and Luo was enveloped in a soft glow. The flower sparkled even more intensely, completely concealing Luo in a stream of blinding light. The young man closed his eyes. A long moment passed before the glow faded, and Luo decided to open his eyes. When he did, he immediately examined his hands. They seemed more graceful, though outwardly they had hardly changed, except perhaps for a slightly lighter skin. Luo raised his head and froze: his own face stared back at him in the reflection of the water, but now he had long, pointed ears and slightly shimmering eyelashes. Looking around, Luo noticed that the forest had become brighter, the sounds of nature clearer. He felt light and free, as never before, Luo touched the trunk of an ancient tree and felt its energy. He realized that his life had changed.
