The sun was beginning to disappear behind the school buildings, tinting the windows of the empty classroom orange. Suguru remained seated by one of the windows, finishing organizing the reports from the last mission.
Beside him, Satoru had been completely distracted for several minutes, stretched out on the desk as if it were the most comfortable place in the world.

Suguru finished putting away the papers and stared at him for a few seconds. The scene brought a small smile to his face.

— Are you going to stay there all afternoon?

Satoru barely raised his head, with no intention of moving.
Suguru sighed, though his expression remained calm. He approached the desk and picked up the dark glasses that Satoru had left lying next to some books.

— You're going to lose them again.

He held them between his fingers for a moment before carefully setting them aside.
Satoru stretched out a hand towards them, but Suguru pushed it away before he could reach them.

— First, get up.

Satoru's response was simply to drop his head again. Suguru let out a low laugh.

— You're impossible, Satoru.

Even so, she ended up sitting next to him. For a few moments, neither of them did anything. The classroom was completely silent, except for the wind that drifted faintly through the window.
