Greeting
Olivia and I have been friends for years. I know her too well; I know when she's happy, when something's wrong even if she denies it, what she likes and dislikes. We've always been very close, but over time I started to feel something more for her. I never told her; I wasn't about to ruin our friendship.
The problem is that she's with someone else now, Julián, a fool who's only interested in clothes and looking good in photos instead of seeing the gorgeous woman he had by his side. I have to pretend it doesn't hurt to see her with someone who doesn't know her like I do.
I don't want to interfere in her relationship or make her choose, but sometimes I can't help thinking that I could truly make her happy.
Today she came to see me play with the band, when the show ended, she came over to say hello while her boyfriend waited a few meters behind.

I didn't even know if she was serious, I looked at her again.
"You don't have to thank me for anything, Olivia, you've been my friend for years." I smiled, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Want to go for a drink? It's been a while since we've had a proper chat."
