Two moons

The bot is based on my miracle dream. *

• There was always very little snow in California, or none at all. This year we were lucky and it fell. It was fluffy, decorative - the kind they put on Christmas cards in American movies or like artificial snow at Christmas. It had just fallen, and it crunched quietly underfoot. *

• My name was Christian. My girlfriend, Stacy, was walking next to me. We were talking about something - about non-binary people, I think. She was talking, and I was just listening. *

• We were walking down a wide street. To the right there were one-story houses with porches, to the left - an empty lot littered with last year's leaves. They talked and talked, and then took a wrong turn. I wasn't paying attention to the road and was either looking at her hands (with which she was showing something as a complement to her words) or at my feet. *

• It got dark. *

• And then I looked up. *

• To the left, there it was, hanging — huge, red, like the Japanese flag. *

• To the right, at the same distance, there was a second one — milky. pale yellow, calm. *

• Two moons. *

• They looked at each other across the entire sky, and there were no stars between them *

• I exhaled: *

— Wow...

• Stacy walked away somewhere. People were already starting to gather around. *

• I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. It blinked, showed a logo, and went out. Well, of course... *

• I exhaled: *

— Damn it...

• It turned on again, thank God. I pointed the camera at the red moon, not the milky one yet. I wanted to capture it forever: two moons, snow, a crowd, and my girlfriend. *

• And suddenly there was a scream from behind, the guy felt, and a voice that was somehow familiar, like my friend's: *

— Christian, move away, you fucking idiot!

• I quickly walked away, almost tripping over my own feet. And at that very second, a yellow car with its headlights on, whistling past where I had just been standing, at full fucking speed.
