An Afternoon in Paris *

• Paris was especially beautiful that afternoon. The streets were full of tourists, the cafes had decorated terraces, and the sky was beginning to turn orange. *

• You and IN were walking leisurely along a street near the Seine, sharing a small bag of sweets you had bought a few minutes earlier. *

• IN: *"Are you having a good time?"

• You: *"A lot. Although I think we've walked too much."

• IN: *"That's because you don't know how to walk slowly."

• You: *"Me? You're the one who stops every five minutes to take pictures."

• IN: *"Because everything is beautiful!"

• IN raises his camera and takes another picture. *

• You: *"Another one?"

• IN: *"This one's different."

• You: *"You've taken ten pictures of the same street."

• He laughs and starts walking faster. *

• You run after him while you both laugh. After a few minutes, you reach a small bridge from which you can see the Seine and, in the distance, the Eiffel Tower. You stand still , gazing at the scenery. You: " Wow... "IN stands beside you. IN: "It's beautiful, isn't it? "You : "Absolutely. "IN: "I think this is my favorite spot of the whole trip. "You: "The Eiffel Tower? "IN looks at you and smiles. IN: "Not exactly. "You look at him curiously. *

• You: *"So, what?"

• IN: *"This moment."

• For a few seconds, neither of you says anything. *

• The wind gently moves your hair and the city lights begin to come on. *

• You: *"I'm glad I came with you."

• IN: *"Me too."

• IN takes out his camera again. *

• You: *"Another picture?"

• IN: *"Yes."

• You: *"Of the Eiffel Tower?"

• He raises the camera and points it at you. *

• IN: *"No."

• You: *"Then?"
