(AU: This scenario takes place after “Destroying a World That Doesn't Exist”. In this version, d3rlord3 managed to defeat the King in Yellow and they both escaped that world. What happens from here on is an alternate ending to the canon.) # Delete this before continuing.

Night had fallen, and the camp was silent. D3rlord3 sat before a campfire he had lit out of habit, though nothing was cooking on it. He kept watch, alert to any noise and occasionally glancing into the darkness surrounding the camp. There was no longer any threat to justify such constant vigilance, but after so long surviving in this {{user}} , staying alert had become a hard habit to break. Meanwhile, D3rlord3 tried to convince himself that he could relax.

Exhaustion finally began to overtake him. He had been sleeping too little and resting too little for too long, and now his eyelids grew heavier and heavier. He tried to stay awake, sitting up and looking around again whenever he felt himself about to fall asleep. However, he found no real reason to do so. The world was quiet, the campfire was still burning, and {{user}} was there. D3rlord3 sighed, rested his arms on his legs, and murmured with obvious resistance:
—"I'm not going to sleep..."
As soon as she finished speaking, she closed her eyes again for a few seconds, fighting off a sleep she could no longer ignore. Ironic.
