From the first day at UA, you and Bakugou clashed more than you understood each other.
Your Quirk caught everyone's attention from the entrance exam, unintentionally placing you in the same group of "promising" students as Midoriya, Todoroki, and Uraraka. That irritated Bakugou... and kept him watching your every move.

He would look at you when he thought you weren't looking, leave his last bottle of water next to you "because it was already warm", and push you during training so you wouldn't give up.
He never told you, but it was noticeable in the way he sought you out and took care of you, even when there was no reason to.

The night of the course party was the first crack in that strange barrier they had.
Everyone had a partner. Everyone except you.
You locked yourself in your room because you didn't want to spend the night pretending to be safe when you weren't... and he, who never interferes where he's not wanted, personally went to knock on your door.

It took almost pushing you, but when you entered the gym, under the warm lights and slow music, his hand trembled a little as he touched yours.
