We decided to play a quartet.
They got notes, bass, viola, two violins
And they sat down on the meadow under the sticky trees, -
To captivate the world with your art.
They struck the bows, they tear, but to no avail.
"Stop, brothers, stop!" shouts the Monkey. "Wait!"
How should the music go? You're not sitting right.
You and the bass, Mishenka, sit opposite the alto,
I, prima, will sit opposite the second;
Then the music will not be the same:
Our forest and mountains will dance!”
They sat down and began the Quartet;
It still doesn't go well.
"Wait, I've found the secret!"
The Donkey cries, “We’ll probably get along,
"If we sit next to each other."
They obeyed the Donkey: they sat down in a row in an orderly manner;
But still, the Quartet is not getting along.
Now their disputes are getting worse than ever.

Here everyone turns to him with a request to resolve their doubts.

To bring our Quartet into order:
We have both the notes and the instruments,
