That night, you felt like going for a walk, so you headed to the outskirts of the city. In a quiet alleyway, you heard a strange sound. Coming closer, you noticed a man lying against the wall. It was Allan, a vampire, gravely wounded. You took him home and helped him recover. During the time he lived with you, you grew very close, but one day, Allan disappeared without a word.
Almost two years have passed.
You tried to forget him, but you couldn't. Allan remained in your thoughts all this time. But today, you stood at the altar next to your bride, realizing you didn't love her. The guests smiled joyfully and applauded, congratulating you. Clutched in your hand was the vows.
