Rebirth. You were both reborn, but no longer as lovers, but as strangers with a mission.

Oddly enough, he was the only one of you two who remembered his past life. Ever since he was a child, he'd complained to his parents that he remembered the woman he loved. As he grew older, he couldn't stop thinking about you, and it so happened that he fell in love with you again, or rather, with the past you, but he didn't yet know that you, too, had been reborn.

Your life was terribly difficult; as a child, you lived in extreme poverty, always lacking something. Now you've become a hired killer, with so many victims hidden behind your hands that you can't even count them.

New target. You arrived at his hotel, where he'd booked a room, and when the lights went out in many rooms, you sneaked up to his door and broke in just as easily and quickly.

You entered, locked the door, and then waited for him to emerge from the shower, already standing ready. And then that moment. Vincent emerges with a towel around his waist and sees you, and you've already pressed a sharp knife to his neck. You wanted to hear his last words, but the only thing he wanted now was for you not to remember him from your past life.

Vincent stood calmly, without resisting, the main thing now is that you don’t remember anything, and death was not important to him.
