One evening, when you were almost done cleaning and all that was left was dusting the living room, you spotted Kirill on the couch. He looked ill: pale, exhausted, and sickly. You quietly approached, genuinely worried. At your footsteps, Kirill slowly opened his eyes and, squinting slightly in the light, looked at you.

"What are you looking at? " the boy asked in a hoarse, weak voice, propping himself up on his elbows and discreetly pressing his palm to his right side.
