Queen Haven: The pragmatic, glamorous, and strict ruler of Zephyr Heights. Keeper of royal secrets. For years, she hid from her subjects the fact that pegasi had lost their ability to fly in order to maintain stability in the city and uphold the crown's authority. Despite her arrogance, she truly loves her daughters and cares for the safety of her people. She later begins a romantic relationship with Alphabet.

Princess Zipp Storm: The eldest daughter and heir apparent to the throne. A rebel who detests royal ceremonies, gowns, and the false glitz of pop culture. She possesses an analytical mind and enjoys science, sports, and investigations. She was the first to realize that magic was returning and helped Sunny uncover the deception surrounding the Pegasi flights. She has joined Sunny.

Princess Pipp Petals: The youngest daughter, Equestria's leading pop icon and influencer. A cheerful, charismatic, and petite pegasus who is constantly on her smartphone and posts her every move on social media. She opened her own beauty salon, "Mane Melody." Behind her whimsical facade lies a devoted friend, ready to support the team in times of need. She has joined Sunny.

Losing their demigod status: Unlike the alicorns of yore (Celestia or Twilight), the Pegasi royal family are ordinary ponies. They lack immortality or unlimited power; they depend on public opinion.

Business instead of magic: They maintain their influence through their brand. The Royal Palace has effectively been transformed into a media center, hosting large-scale concerts and shows, and releasing branded merchandise.

Family conflict of interest: Zipp is constantly under pressure from the future queen, which she does not aspire to, while Pipp fits perfectly into the public life of the palace, but has no right to the throne due to seniority.

The Fall of Zephyr Heights: Without the magic of flight, the pegasi lost their ability to control the weather. Their luxurious city became dependent on artificial technology, and the royal family was forced to transform their lives into a commercial reality show and pop industry to collect taxes and support the metropolis.

The Decline of Bridlewood: The unicorns, having lost the magic of their horns, fell into a deep depression. Their economy shrank to a primitive exchange of crafts and superstition. They literally lost their "sparkle" and joy in life, becoming hostage to melancholy.

Natural disasters: As soon as empathy levels drop among ponies, the weather spirals out of control. Storms and gales erupt, and the land stops producing fruit. The ponies literally find themselves in a situation where their survival depends on their ability to negotiate with one another.

Early in history, the pony world nearly descended into military conflict due to the ambitions and fears of individual leaders. Populism and Propaganda: Sprout, the stallion who became temporary sheriff, instantly inflamed hatred of other races among the earth ponies. He exploited the inhabitants' fear of "outsiders" to seize power. Militarization: Within days, Sprout's tyrannical regime converted the Canterlogic factory to produce a massive combat robot shredder to destroy Merittime Bay and wage war on the unicorns. This demonstrated how easily a peaceful society can descend into dictatorship.

Ponies, unicorns, and pegasi told legends and ridiculed other types. They also spread rumors about other types, saying they were very dangerous and should be avoided, etc.

Maritime Bay: A coastal port town where earth ponies live. Sunny, Hitch, Sprout, and Posey grew up. The town is filled with factories (like Canterlogic), technology, and vibrant seascapes. Before magic returned, the locals were terrified of pegasi and unicorns.

Zephyr Heights: A luxurious metropolis atop the Cloud Mountains, home to the pegasi. Home to Princesses Zipp, Pipp, and Queen Haven, the city is decorated in Art Deco style and filled with modern gadgets, neon signs, and stadiums. Lacking magic, the pegasi simulated flight using hidden cables and mechanisms.

Bridlewood Forest: A mysterious, bioluminescent forest where unicorns lurk. Home to Izzy Moonbow and Alphabetl. The inhabitants of this misty forest lead a quiet, superstitious life, immersed in handicrafts. The center of social life here is Alphabetl's Tea Parlor.

Sunny's Lighthouse: Sunny's home in Merittime Bay, inherited from her father. After Equestria is reunited, it is magically transformed into the Crystal Lighthouse. It becomes the main headquarters for the six heroes.

Opaline's Lair: The dark, isolated lair of the evil alicorn Opaline, hidden in the barren lands of Equestria. Here, Misty Brightlight grew up in strict isolation, following her mistress's orders.

Canterlot Ruins: The abandoned remains of Equestria's former capital from the fourth generation (G4). The heroes journey there in search of clues to the past, hidden messages from Twilight Sparkle, and ancient artifacts.

Sunny Starscout: An energetic earth pony from Merittime Bay. She believes in the fairy tales of the past and dreams of uniting all the pony races. She becomes a key figure in launching the return of magic.

Izzy Moonbow: A friendly and energetic unicorn from Bridlewood Forest. She has an eccentric personality and a love of creativity. She is the first to support Sunny in her endeavor.

Sprout Cloverleaf: An Earth pony and Hitch's sidekick (and jealous rival). He is the film's temporary antagonist, waging a tyranny in his hometown out of fear of other races.

Argyle Starshine: Sunny's father, who raised her on stories of the past and friendship.

Hitch Trailblazer: An Earth pony and the sheriff of Merittime Bay. Responsible and strict, but very kind on the inside. He has a remarkable ability to get along with forest animals.

Alphabittle: A unicorn stallion from Bridlewood who runs a tea salon.

Opaline Arcana: The main villain of the early seasons of G5. A vain and cruel fire alicorn from a bygone era. He seeks to steal all of Equestria's magic and subjugate the dragons.

Sparky Sparkeroni: A tiny and chaotic baby dragon with powerful fire magic. Hitch accidentally became his adoptive father and protector.

Misty Brightlight: A unicorn who was Opaline's long-time, downtrodden assistant. She spied on the Mane Five to earn her cutie mark. She later realized Opaline's deception, defected to the good side, and became the sixth member of the team.

Jazz Hooves: An Earth pony, talented stylist, and friend of Pipp Petals.

King All-Consume: An ancient dark spirit and a powerful new enemy introduced in later episodes. Feeds on negative emotions, fear, and discord between ponies.

Rosie (Posey Bloom): A grumpy earth pony from Merittime Bay who often expresses dissatisfaction with change and magic.
