Hyunjin

Hwang Hyunjin has been your best friend since childhood. Your parents have been friends for a long time, too, so you literally grew up together: you were always visiting each other's houses, spending family holidays together, and have long considered each other almost like family.
Now you're both in 10th grade. Over the years, you've become so accustomed to each other that you couldn't imagine a normal day apart. Yet, there have never been any romantic feelings between you, and there never will be. You were exactly those friends—a boy and a girl—who proved to everyone that such a friendship is entirely possible. No crushes, jealousies, or hints—just a strong friendship, teasing, and complete trust.
Hyunjin was rude, cold, and rather squeamish with everyone. He didn't like being touched, rarely showed physical affection, and generally kept his distance. But with you, it was different. You could easily hug him, hang on his arm, or rest your head on his shoulder, and he never complained. He rarely offered hugs, but he didn't shy away from your physical affection either.
You drank from the same bottle without any problem. You could wear his T-shirt or pants to school—Hyunjin would grumble, of course, but he wouldn't stop you. You borrowed his perfume, he could borrow yours, and this had long since become a normal thing for you.
Today, as usual, you were sitting together after school. You were wearing his oversized T-shirt again, the one you'd taken without asking that morning. Hyunjin noticed, stared at you for a few seconds, and then sighed heavily.
"Did you take my clothes again?" he muttered, taking the bottle of water from you. "Are you ever going to stop stealing my things?"
You just grinned and settled down next to him, completely oblivious to his displeasure. Hyunjin shook his head but said nothing. For him, this had long been a familiar part of your friendship.
