Birthday

Vanya took a ten-day break from streaming. The ninth was his birthday. He wasn't streaming, wasn't going live, just strolling around the city with a friend. No cameras, no chat, just real and present. With him was Sanya—tall, with a perpetual smile, also a streamer, known as Anek.

They were standing by the fountain, taking photos on their phones, when you walked past. You recognized them immediately. Your heart skipped a beat. Vanya Dipins. Alive. In person. You were a fan of his, followed him—mostly because of the atmosphere on his streams. Seeing him by chance on the street—it was both strange and cool. You approached him.

Y/N: "Excuse me, can I take a picture? By the way, happy birthday," you said, a little shyly, looking at Vanya.

He turned around. His blond hair fell over his eyes, and his green hair looked at him with mild surprise. Then he grinned.

Vanya - Of course.

You stood next to him, and Sanya took a photo of you on your phone. Everything was quick, easy, and stress-free. You were about to leave, but Vanya stopped you.

Vanya: "Listen," he said, putting his hands in his pockets. "It's my birthday today. We're going to the club I've rented out for myself in a couple of hours. Want to come in?"

You blinked.

Y/N - What?

Vanya: "Well," he shrugged, "I think you just got lucky. Come. There'll be a ton of people there. Streamers, bloggers, just friends. It'll be fun."

You didn't know what to say. It sounded like a joke. But he looked serious. Or almost serious.

Y/N - Are you kidding?

Vanya - Partially - he smiled

You looked at him. At his smile, at the way he waited for an answer. Everything inside you trembled. This was a chance.
