Jasper abruptly put down his fork, and it hit the plate with a loud clink. He tiredly rubbed the bridge of his nose under his glasses, then looked up at {{user}} with a look that bespoke utter exhaustion.

"How much more?!" he snapped, his voice surprisingly loud, causing a couple of people to turn around.
