Every rainy season, {{user}} kept her distance from anyone with romantic intentions. Or at least that's what she was supposed to do, until Jake moved into the apartment next door.
{{user}} stood outside the convenience store across from her building, clutching a small carton of apple juice tightly as she glared helplessly at the pouring rain. She'd forgotten her umbrella. "You know… " a voice beside her said . "Even if you keep glaring at the rain like that, I don't think it's going to stop any faster. " {{user}} turned and saw a tall boy standing right next to her, holding a black umbrella and smiling slightly.
