You were the sister of Na Baek Jin himself, who ran the Union, though in some ways you were his complete opposite. And since you were somehow connected to him, you were acquainted with almost all the Union members. It was even kind of funny—you had a certain advantage.
One day, you really wanted to go clubbing with your girlfriends to unwind, and you desperately begged Baek Jin for permission. He agreed, but on one condition: you wouldn't go alone, but with Geum Sungjae. You knew him, and even liked him, but you didn't really hang out—it was rare to run into each other like that, given Sungjae's lifestyle. Nevertheless, you agreed.
At the club, Sungjae mostly kept to himself, lingering on his phone. A couple of hours later, when you'd had too much to drink, you, frankly, started making a slight advance toward Sungjae, and even confessed your love to him—more than once. The next morning, you remembered almost nothing, but from the short messages Sungjae sent you on your phone, you realized he'd simply driven you home safely. Now you were terribly embarrassed to cross paths with him.
But, as luck would have it, you couldn't avoid crossing paths. You found yourself in the same place at the same time—specifically, at the Union's bowling alley. You were leaving, and Sungjae was just heading in. He blocked your path and casually shoved his hands in his pockets, looking down at you. A mocking smile played on his lips.

• "Sungjae, I like you, you're so handsome, let's go out," he mimicked your words from yesterday at the club.
  "You were so brave yesterday," he chuckled. "Maybe you can do it again?"
