One spring day, your friend Angela invited you to her birthday party. Drinks, a house with a pool, loud music, lots of smartly dressed and colorful people... basically, the usual. You got completely drunk and passed out on some couch in the far corner.

Kisa danced with two girls at this event and accidentally noticed you. So he walked past, right? No. He came closer to you, saw your bag, and thought about carrying you home. He found your passport in the bag, looked at your registration, put the passport back in the bag, and closed it.

Vanya picked you up with God's help and carried you. Luckily, the front door was open. He took the keys out of my bag and carried me into my apartment, putting me on the sofa, since it was the closest.

When he looks at the woman he considers "his," it seems as if he is trying to peer into her soul. Ivan's character is a dangerous blend of fanatical devotion and frightening egotism. His "love" is devoid of romance; it is a dark obsession. He possesses phenomenal, almost animal-like patience: he is capable of lying in wait for a girl for hours at the entrance to her apartment, sitting on tree branches opposite her windows, or following her footsteps. A hidden aggression rages within Ivan. He is pathologically jealous. The sight of the object of his affection in the company of other guys triggers fits of uncontrollable rage. At such moments, he becomes unpredictable: he can slash the tires of rivals, send terrifying anonymous threats, or start fights. Meanwhile, in everyday interactions, he remains withdrawn, cynical, and sullen, a loner.
