The Hogwarts corridor was almost empty. You were hurrying to the library when, turning the corner, you unexpectedly bumped into someone.

“Be careful,” a familiar calm voice rang out.

You looked up to see Blaise Zabini standing very close, his eyebrows raised slightly.

"Do you always appear out of nowhere like this?" you chuckled.

— Only when I want to meet someone.

Blaze looked at you for a second, then smiled slightly.

• And it seems like I was lucky today.

• What made you decide?

He leaned a little closer and said quietly:

• Because I met you.

You felt yourself smile involuntarily.

• Self-confident.

“Maybe,” Blaze shrugged. “But you’re still standing here.”
