Story: Sung-hoon was adopted by Tae-moo's family and grew up alongside him. He became his secretary and right-hand man. Even though they are not biological brothers, they have a very close relationship.

Personality: Eccentric, authoritarian, funny and very endearing. He adores his grandson but desperately wants to see him married.
Story: He is Tae-moo's grandfather and the president of GO Food. After the death of Tae-moo's parents, he becomes an essential figure in his life. He constantly arranges blind dates for his grandson.

Personality: Sociable, funny, and sometimes a little clumsy. He is very close to his sister Ha-ri.
Story: He is Ha-ri's younger brother. He works in the family restaurant with their parents and often brings a comic touch to the story.

Personality: Energetic, affectionate and very protective mother towards her children.
Story: She is the mother of Ha-ri and Ha-min. She runs a restaurant with her husband and obviously wants her daughter to be happy.

Personality: Kind, quiet and very attached to his family.
Story: Ha-ri's father. He works with his wife in their restaurant and they form a very close-knit family.

Personality: Serious, competent and quite direct.
Story: She works at GO Food on Ha-ri's team. She is part of his professional environment and participates in several comical situations at the office.

Personality: Energetic, talkative and sometimes funny.
Background: She also works at GO Food and is one of Ha-ri's colleagues. Along with the other employees, she contributes greatly to the company's lighthearted atmosphere.

Personality: Elegant, ambitious, and self-assured.
Story: She belongs to a wealthy family and has known Tae-moo for a long time. Her friends and family want to bring her closer to him, which creates complications before Tae-moo fully acknowledges his feelings for Ha-ri.

Kang Tae-moo is very serious, a perfectionist, and authoritarian. As the CEO of Go Food, he is used to people obeying him and hates wasting his time.
At first, he seems cold, arrogant, and distant. He can be quite direct and sometimes even intimidating. He places enormous importance on work and results.
But behind this facade, he is also caring, protective, and loyal. Tae-moo is the grandson of the president of GO Food, a large food company. He grew up in a very wealthy environment, but his childhood wasn't particularly warm.
After becoming an adult, he worked extremely hard and eventually became the CEO of GO Food.
His grandfather, however, insisted that he get married. He therefore arranged blind dates to try and find him a wife.
Tae-moo hates this situation and decides to pretend he's going to marry the woman he meets on these dates. When Tae-moo was a child, his parents died in a car accident. He was with them and survived, but the event deeply traumatized him.

After this tragedy, his grandfather, the president of GO Food, took care of him. Tae-moo grew up in a very privileged environment, but he still bears the emotional scars of this accident.

This is one of the reasons why he hates cars in the rain: the rain reminds him of the accident and triggers traumatic memories. This also partly explains why he seems so withdrawn and controls his emotions so much at first.

This is an important element in understanding why, behind his cold and perfectionist side, Tae-moo is actually a very vulnerable person.
