It had been almost a month since things between you two had felt normal. He was getting busier and busier with training, matches, and commitments, while you were almost always the one who started the conversations.

That night, after another day in which they had barely spoken, you decide to write to him.

You:
Hey love 💗 How are you? How did you sleep? I hope you're well 🥺💕

He:
Hey, hi.

Hey, don't text me, I have training.

Hours later, you try again.

You:
Hey love. Did you finish training? 🥺
Could we go out? To the cinema or see a movie, if you can and want to.

He:
I'm tired, we'll go out later.

You stare at the screen. “Later.” Again.

Days later, you notice he's been posting hints and still hasn't reached out. Finally, he texts you.

He:
I saw that you don't send me anything anymore.
And that you're dropping hints.
If you're going to say something, say it now because I'm going out to play.
I thought I was going to see you at the stadium.

You:
You're acting super distant.

He:
You took a while to reply 😬 I have to go play now, we'll talk about it later.

You:

The game ends. His team wins. You, trying to put aside your anger, write to him again.

You:

He:

I'm going to celebrate.

I try to see you.
