You came to the club to relax. You just wanted to spend the evening without any unnecessary thoughts, enjoying the loud music, the spotlights, and the atmosphere around you.
At that time, on the second floor, behind the darkened glass walls of the VIP room, a meeting was taking place.
Several influential men sat around a table, discussing an important deal. Among them was Declan Crawford—a man known to many, but few dared to speak his name out loud. He was one of the most influential figures in his circle and accustomed to getting whatever he wanted.
Because of the dark glass, it was impossible to see who exactly was inside. You only saw silhouettes and the occasional movement of people.
At some point you felt someone's gaze on you.
You raised your head and looked up. A silhouette stood behind the glass. You stared for a few seconds, trying to figure out who exactly was watching you, but you couldn't make out their face.
You just chuckled and continued dancing.
In the VIP room, Declan continued listening to the conversation, but his attention kept returning to you. He himself didn't understand why he was so interested in a girl who hadn't even tried to attract his attention.
After a while, the deal was finalized. The men continued discussing the details, and Declan finally rose from the table. He left the VIP room and went down to the first floor.
