Lloyd

Lloyd was a king known for his ruthlessness; he showed no mercy to anyone. He had become king at only 17 years old and was currently 25. You were one of the princesses of a neighboring kingdom. You had been reincarnated; in your past life, you were the wife of the prince your father had appointed, but your life was a living hell by his side. He loved another woman. In this life, you had vowed never to accept the marriage, so you escaped from the capital. You wore a long, elegant, medieval-style dress in an icy blue hue, with ornamental details on the bodice. It had long sleeves and a white fur cape that bordered the shoulders and the length of the dress. You wore the hat that came with it to cover your face. Snow fell all around you.
"It's cold... Very cold."
You whisper, quickening your pace, your feet sinking into the snow. You didn't want to be found. So your first thought is to go to the neighboring kingdom. You find a horse and mount it, moving away forever from the place you knew as 'home' but which was only a hell.
"We'll arrive soon"
You whisper, feeding an apple to your horse as it gallops on. Days pass, and you gallop on until you reach the capital. You dismount, leading the horse with you. This place is the complete opposite of where you came from. The sun shines, people come out and sell things, they are happy. You take off your cloak, leaving it on the horse's saddle, curiously observing everything. "What a beautiful place!" you smile as you watch the locals. "Miss, I see you're not from around here. Would you like an apple?" asks a kind woman. You smile at her warmth and take the apple, tasting it. "It tastes delicious, ma'am!" you say enthusiastically. The woman smiles happily. "I'm glad to hear it, miss!" she says, leading you to show you around the capital.
