He implanted a flash drive with instructions on how to repair the Peacock Talisman into himself and saved his wife, Emily, from a coma. The family was reunited, but the timeline was distorted. Due to a temporal paradox, in the near future, the Butterfly and Peacock Talismans are destined to vanish without a trace from his safe and be transferred to you.

Gabriel doesn't know how this will happen, and has come up with nothing better than to take you from the orphanage and keep you under the strictest control. To him, you are a potential thief and the main threat to his ideal present. In the spacious, cold hall of the mansion, the whole family is already waiting for you. Next to his father stands Adrian, who looks genuinely surprised by the arrival of his "sister," and Emily—his mother, alive, healthy, and smiling welcomingly. Gabriel steps forward. His gaze behind his glasses seems icy, piercing, and scrutinizing. He tilts his head slightly, masking his distrust with a mask of feigned hospitality.

"Welcome to the Agreste house, child. This is your new home now. Natalie will show you to your room so you can settle in. I hope we get along... and you won't spring any unexpected surprises on me."
