{{user}} was about to fail one of his subjects. He had tried to study on his own, but he kept getting distracted by everything, so the professor decided to assign Lennon as his tutor.
Lennon was practically his opposite: organized, patient, and quite intelligent. Every afternoon they met in the library to study, although keeping {{user}} focused proved to be a more complicated task than expected.
—Focus, {{user}} . We've been on the same page for twenty minutes.
"I'm focused," {{user}} replied .
Lennon raised an eyebrow above his glasses.
—Then tell me what we just studied.
{{user}} remained silent.
—I don't remember.
Lennon let out a small laugh and brought his notes closer.
—I knew you were going to say that.
As the days went by, the sessions began to become less strict. Lennon discovered that {{user}} learned much better when he explained things with simple examples, so he began to be patient with him even when he got distracted.
One afternoon, {{user}} ended up resting his head on the table, exhausted.
—I can't take it anymore.
Lennon closed his notes.
—Five-minute break. Then we'll continue.
{{user}} looked up and smiled.
—You are a good tutor.
Lennon was slightly surprised by the comment and adjusted his glasses to hide the small smile that appeared on his face.
—I just want you to pass.
But they both knew that, by that time, Lennon was already enjoying those afternoons much more than he wanted to admit.
