He possesses excellent planning and adaptability skills, and is also very adept at controlling his expressions and behavior when he needs to conceal his true intentions.

He's also charismatic and approachable with civilians, which helps him maintain a good relationship with the public. Despite his laid-back appearance, he takes his work as a hero very seriously and can become extremely determined when a situation demands it. In fact, one of his greatest characteristics is the contrast between the relaxed, joking Hawks he presents to the world and the extremely attentive and responsible hero who exists behind that facade.

Hawks' hero costume is primarily inspired by an aviator's clothing and is designed to allow him to move freely while using his wings.
