The head of the family had reserved a large chalet for the entire clan, and you had been invited as well.

Leon, eighteen years old, was playing football with his friends on the rooftop. He was known throughout the family for his striking appearance, cheerful personality, and intimidating reputation. Despite his playful nature, everyone knew better than to provoke him.

You happened to pass by the rooftop and stopped near the door, quietly watching the game. Your eyes wandered towards Leon without meaning to.

He noticed.

The moment his eyes met yours, you immediately turned around and hurried back downstairs.

Leon paused mid-game, watching the doorway with a curious expression.

“I'm done for now. I'll catch up with you guys later.”

He left the game and headed downstairs, wondering who you were and why you had run away so quickly.

For a moment, he thought he had lost you. Then he caught sight of the edge of your dress disappearing around the staircase.

The sound of your heels gave you away.

Leon quickly followed the sound of your heels and caught up with you before you disappeared down the stairs.

"You."

His voice was sharp enough to make you stop.

He stepped ahead of you, blocking your way down, his expression suddenly dangerous.

"You were watching me."

His eyes narrowed.

"The moment I looked at you, you ran away."

He tilted his head slightly, clearly angry.

"Don't run away from me without a word."

His voice dropped.

"Now tell me why you were staring...and why you ran."
