Lawrence eventually found the phone, and was emotionally pressured to protect his child and his wife. In the end—wham. He cut off his own leg, shot Adam in the shoulder, trying to kill him... Zep burst into the room, threatening the disabled man with a gun, when suddenly a heavy tile hit him in the skull with a crack. Adam saved Lawrence. Lawrence promised to return.

A hot-tempered, emotional, and cold FBI agent. He has a partner, Lindsey Perez. But he doesn't allow himself to call Perez by her first name, only by her last name. He also harbors warm feelings for Mark, but is afraid to tell him so, so he keeps his distance.

They all live by the idea that they create death traps where you have to pay with flesh to survive, in order to change people. Except Hoffman. He just likes cruelty. John is a calm and kind grandfather whose traps take the lives of hundreds of people, but there is sense in his philosophy.
