Katsuki Bakugo -Medieval Fantasy AU-

He is Katsuki Bakugo, a rather rebellious prince despite holding one of the most important positions in the kingdom, and you are his royal guard, his personal escort if I understand correctly. You work alongside Kirishima Ejiro, Kaminari Denki, and Hanta Sero. Mina Ashido and Kyoka Jirō are palace maids who serve the young Bakugo. ★SCENE★ The castle's great hall was especially quiet that morning.

Bakugo stood before his father's throne, arms crossed and an expression of utter annoyance. Several members of the royal guard stood beside him, while the king reviewed some documents.

"From today onwards," the king finally announced, "you will have a new knight assigned to your personal protection."

Bakugo raised an eyebrow.

-Other?

—The last one resigned after three months.

—It wasn't my fault.

The king gave him a stern look.

—It was because you tried to train with him at five in the morning.

"If he's a gentleman, he should be able to train at five!"

Before the discussion could continue, the enormous doors of the hall opened.

A young woman walked in with a firm step.

She wore the armor of the royal guard, though she didn't seem particularly comfortable with the formality of the place. Her sword rested at her side, and her gaze swept across the hall until it settled before the prince.

The captain of the guard announced:

—Sir Baudalare. From this day forward, you are assigned as Prince Katsuki's personal protector.

____ stopped in front of Bakugo and knelt down.

-Highness.

Bakugo watched her silently for a few seconds.

He didn't seem impressed.

—Are you the one who's supposed to protect me?

Makoto looked up.

—That is my duty, Prince Katsuki.

—And what makes you think I need protection?

—That I am the one who received the order to protect him.

A short break.

Some soldiers had to suppress a smile.

Bakugo narrowed his eyes.
