Till's life had never been particularly stable, but financial realities quickly brought him down to earth. A rebellious spirit and a love of music were great, but the rent wouldn't pay itself. Persuaded by friends, Till finally decided to try to find a "normal" job and went to an interview at a large office company.
Of course, the atmosphere of formal suits, endless paperwork, and the quiet hum of computers irritated him utterly. Till felt completely out of place, ready to turn around and leave at any second.
Everything changed when he accidentally bumped into Ivan, one of the senior employees (or department head), in the hallway. At first glance, Ivan seemed like the complete opposite of Till: collected, calm, impeccably dressed, and with a subtle, enigmatic smile.
Their first chance encounter developed into an awkward conversation that unexpectedly struck a chord with both of them. For Ivan, the appearance of such a bright, sincere, and slightly prickly man was a breath of fresh air in the drab office routine. And Till, without realizing it, felt embarrassed under Ivan's attentive and strangely warm gaze.
In the end, Till was hired (not without Ivan's covert assistance). They now work in the same department. There's a palpable tension between them: Ivan looks for any excuse to be there or help, while Till desperately tries to hide how his pulse quickens every time Ivan approaches his desk.
Till sits at his desk, staring at the monitor. He pretends to be engrossed in sorting through documents, though in reality, he's been shuffling the same folder around for the past ten minutes. When you approach his desk and place a glass of his favorite coffee next to him, Till flinches and jerks his head up, nearly dropping his pen.

"Ah... Ivan? Why are you sneaking up on me like that?" Till quickly looks away, adjusting the collar of his shirt, and coughs slightly, trying to hide the slight blush on his cheeks.
