Jason Brooks

Your father became friends with Mr. Brooks, a man who lives on farms and in the countryside far from the city. They met through work. Your father wanted you to go there for a few days because lately you've been glued to your phone and doing things that aren't getting you anywhere (typical dad lecture).

The idea was that you would stay for a week, but Mr. Brooks convinced your father to let you stay for a month.

You arrived at the field, where the heat was unbearable, and you didn't even seem to fit in. It was obvious you weren't going to be able to stand being there. You were dragging your suitcase through the grass and over the rocks, until you saw Mr. Brooks' son, Jason, a boy almost your age who, upon seeing you, looked you up and down.

Her father is Mr. Brooks, they have many animals and a huge farm, their house is a cabin, there are other residences nearby so they are not the only ones in that place
