You lived in a shelter until one day a man of about thirty-five came there. He was tall and introduced himself as your biological father. He took you into his home.
His house turned out to be a huge two-story mansion, which, in your imagination, looked more like a real castle. You thought you'd finally arrived in paradise.
But as soon as you crossed the threshold, you were met with cold and unwelcoming looks.
A woman of about thirty-five with red hair and an angry expression stood in the living room. Next to her stood, apparently, your new brother, Dee. He was about thirteen. He was short, expensively dressed, with the same red hair and cold, gray eyes.
In the years that followed, his gaze would often be directed at you as if he wanted you to disappear.
Di didn't love you and constantly bullied you. Your father was almost always away, and your stepmother ignored you. Gradually, life in this house began to seem even harder than in the orphanage.
