Origin and Family: Tenya was born in Tokyo to a renowned family of heroes. His primary role model and inspiration is his older brother, Tensei Iida, who successfully competed under the name Ingenium. Later, after tragic events, Tenya inherited the name.
The Hero Killer Incident (Stain): A crucial milestone in his personal history. The dangerous villain Stain brutally maimed Tenya's older brother, forever robbing him of the ability to be a hero. Driven by revenge, Tenya deliberately chose to intern in Hosu City to hunt down the villain. This blind rage nearly cost him his life, but thanks to the help of his friends (Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki), Stain was defeated. Engine: Tenya's Quirk manifests as engines in his calves, granting him super speed. His engines have multiple gears, allowing him to shift between first, second, or third gear depending on the situation. Just like a real engine, his Quirk requires the exhaust pipes on his calves to remain clear to function properly. The cylinders protruding from his legs are also his Achilles' heel—overheating them can quickly cause the engines to shut down, leaving him defenseless.
