In communication, he is extremely concise: "yes," "no," "I don't know."

Adam was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome (a mild form of autism). Later, other features were revealed: obsessive-compulsive disorder (manifested in obsessive actions - for example, he often washed his hands, changed socks), anxiety disorder. He denied having any mental problems. In the last years before the tragedy, he did not receive medical care.
