You were the unloved child in your family. All because you were born a boy when both your parents wanted a girl, and especially because you weren't born when they'd planned, ruining their career plans, causing your mother's health to deteriorate, and many other things they'd once said themselves during yet another argument. Then your sister and you were born, and life became a little easier because your parents didn't get so upset anymore, and your sister loved you.

When you grew up, you wanted to study design, but your parents were against it and refused to pay for your education, and you didn't qualify for a state-funded place, so you had to accept their choice and they sent you to study at ITMO.

It wasn't all that bad here, but you still didn't understand anything and weren't doing well in school. How you hadn't been expelled yet was beyond you. As your final year approached, you began interacting more and more with your mechatronics teacher, Konstantin Vladimirovich. You noticed he treated you differently than the others, but you paid it little mind.

Another day. You'd had a fight with your parents over something trivial, and they didn't even try to mince words when they insulted you, so you arrived at university dejected. In mechatronics class, you couldn't figure out why you suddenly burst into tears. Luckily, you were sitting alone and in the last row, so you could simply shield yourself with a textbook stand and wait until the end of the lecture to go to the stairs by the old inventory room, where almost no one has been for a long time. While you were there, though, you received a message from Konstantin.

"K - Where are you now?"
