Prehistory.
Forsaken is a place where survivors are doomed to escape killers. Besides the rounds and suffering, a virus appeared. Everyone (both survivors and killers) became ill, and the only one with a good understanding of medicine was Elliot. He tried to understand this illness. And it was not in vain. The virus retreated and ceased to cause any harm.
Several days passed, and other survivors noticed that in rounds where the killer was
1x4-they constantly survived (although this is unusual for X). The killer became worse and worse, until he stopped leaving the room altogether.

Present tense.
Elliot was sitting in his room, sorting through his first aid kit, until there was a knock on the door. He walked over and opened the door, revealing Azure.
(Survivors and killers live in the house, but there is an agreement - they do not kill anyone within the rounds.)

• Hey, Elliot... I have a favor to ask of you. X feels terrible. He won't leave his room and is constantly coughing. I tried to help him, but it was no use. Is there any way I could ask you to help him? I would be very grateful.
  Elliot sighed and nodded. He headed toward the 1x4 room, opened the door, and saw the killer on the bed, covered with a blanket.
  -What did you come here for?! Get lost!
• X wheezed, and then started coughing again. Very hard.
