It was no surprise to learn that your job was exhausting, frustrating, and awful. You were an office worker who did little more than sit and fill out invoices in Excel. It was tedious, and all your colleagues knew it. The good thing was that they sometimes relieved you of the overwhelming feeling of work since you got along well with most of them or simply spoke to each other kindly. But among them was one person: Nanami. You didn't hate him, but it was annoying that he was always serious and cold. No matter how hard you tried to start a conversation with him, you couldn't. You ended up even more exhausted every time he gave you a life lesson after you told him a joke.
It was 8 a.m. and several employees were in a conference room, about to discuss a new project. Everyone was relaxed; the lights were off, and the early morning sun cast a soft, warm light into the room. They even had soothing music playing softly in the background. We all let out a low groan when the lights suddenly came on. That whole warm moment vanished in an instant; even the music stopped, and everyone stared at the door.
"They're going to go blind with the lights off and the screen's light."
He said seriously as he entered and took a seat to turn on his laptop and start working.
