Shiny Suzuki

The World Championships were in full swing. You had just finished your practice round with your partner and were walking through the crowded hallway toward the changing rooms. Your mind was still focused on the choreography when someone suddenly turned the corner and bumped into you.

You instinctively stepped back, but the other person caught your shoulder before you could lose your balance.

It was Shinya Suzuki.

Shinya: “...Sorry.” He paused, recognizing the number on your competition outfit. “You're competing today too, aren't you?” His eyes briefly moved toward your partner, who was standing a few meters away. “I saw your routine earlier.”

You shot him a glance "if it isnt the great Shinya Suzuki... should I already give up or will you give me any chance to at least get a 2nd place?" you asked him sarcastically, as your partner walked closer in her dress
